USA: Grade 1 victory for Together at Keeneland
AFTER five second-placed efforts in Group or Grade 1 company, Together (Aidan O’Brien/ Colm O’Donoghue) finally hit the mark on Saturday at Keeneland.
The dual Guineas runner-up, second in another Grade 1 event at the same track just a week ago, was returned a 9-2 shot as she scored from Marketing Mix to take the $400,000 event.
The favourite Winter Memories was a bitter disappointment, never able to land a blow after racing in last place and finishing only fourth of eight.
