Odds watch: D-Backs action moves line vs. Padres

MLB Live OddsArizona Diamondbacks at San Diego Padres (-115, 6.5)The books originally had the Padres listed as a -120 favorite against Arizona with the total at 7 runs. Now the Diamondbacks are set around -115 or -120 and the total has dropped half a run. Lefty Joe Saunders get the call for Arizona against Dustin Moseley. Right now about 64 percent of Covers Consensus bettors are backing Arizona, which has won six of its last nine games. However, Arizona is just 2-11 in its last 13 games in San Diego. WNBA Live OddsAtlanta Dream at Tulsa Shock (+8.5, 156)The books had Tulsa set as a 6.5-point underdog at the open but bettors continue to fade the Shock, who are 1-14 straight up this season. Tulsa is currently pegged around +8.5 with a total of 156. Atlanta has been a terrible bet this season, covering in only four of its 14 contests. Even though the two teams have played over the total in 10 of their last 11 meetings, the total is down a point from its opening number. Other betting notes: Kevin Youkilis (hamstring) won’t play for the Boston Red Sox tonight against the Kansas City Royals. The club’s starting third baseman strained his hamstring Monday night, but it isn’t considered serious. Chipper Jones (quad) will sit out Atlanta’s game against Pittsburgh Tuesday night just a day after he came off the disabled list.
