Prostitution sting nets Southern University AD at Final Four
Southern University athletic director Greg LaFleur, in Houston for the NCAA Tournament’s Final Four, was arrested for solicititation of a prostitute on Sunday night.
LaFleur, a 52-year-old former NFL tight end and AD at the school for the past six years, is free on $500 bond after he was caught in a reverse-prostitution sting by undercover officers on a downtown street.
School officials released a statement saying it will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. LaFleur, the father of Gonzaga center Robert Sacre, could not be reached forment.
